UX/UI Case Study: Concious Evolution App
Software that helps users to keep an eye on the activity of the body and also allows you to connect all your smart devices to the same app, so you can keep track of all your devices and their health.
Product Overview
The Software gathers data from an ecosystem of all sorts of devices like smart phone, smart watch, smart body scale, smart calories tracker, smart fridge, smart toothbrush, smart air monitor, smart thermostat, … Any type of device can be connected to the platform easily to retrieve their data and send commands.
Problem
The data that comes from the connected devices is interesting but messy and incomplete. There is no prioritisation or clarity on the progress towards a healthy life. Looking at the lines of data, numbers and charts for each of the measurements and their aggregations is simply boring and uninspiring. Making sense of what they see, gathering any conclusion and even setting the right goals turns out to be difficult.
Role
UX/UI Designer, Interaction Designer, Product Designer.
Design Process
Information Architecture, Low to High Fidelity Prototype.
Solution
To conclude this project, it was decided to make a simple and easy to use app, minimalist and with the necessary functionalities so as not to divert the objective of the product and to focus it within the market.
Impact
It’s a big step forward in convenience for people who have multiple smart devices, as they can finally have everything connected in one app. They can also see all the data and set their goals better. The biggest challenge in this project has been to fit different product types into the same app and that the performance of the app is not affected.
